<p>The driver continuously installs vine-stakes, being mounted on a tractor. It uses a horizontal jack (P) on the longitudinal axis to displace the sliding frame (3) relative to the fixed frame (1). The latter locates a vertical stake-driving jack (4,4') on each extremity. The jacks (P,4,4') extend simultaneously and are independently adjustable for stroke length. The jacks (4,4') are adjustable for inclination. One jack (P) has discharge limitation and its displacement is proportional to tractor speed. The rate of stake-driving and the displacement is always identical. Control may be by independent electric or hydraulic circuits and a wheel (2) may be used to vary the stake interval.</p> |
