Wind indicator for e.g. exposed road bridge - has measuring unit coupled to sign displaying wind velocity and max. permitted speed for different vehicles

The indicator is coupled to a sign which provides a display dependant on the signal from the indicator positioned at a given distance from the sign along the road, e.g. at a given point after the sign where the road crosses a bridge. The sign pref. displays the measured wind velocity and further digital displays may indicate the max. permissible speeds for different types of vehicles for the following section of road. These digital displays may also be controlled in dependence on the wind directions and/or the wind blusteriness, the dampness of the road surface, or the ambient temp.
