SOUNDPROOF OILLFILLED ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE

PURPOSE:To control rise in the temperature without impairing the sound proofing effect by providing an oil cooling device outside a soundproof wall while a heat shielding material is mounted on the entire outer surfaces of an oil tank in a soundproof oil-filled electrical appliance as an oil-filled electrical appliance such as transformer wrapped with a soundproof wall. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 1 whose contents and oil are housed in an oil tank 2 is provided inside a sound wall 3 while an oil cooling device 4 is provided outside the soundproof wall 3 and communicated to the tank 2 through an oil feed tube 5. A heat shielding material 10 is mounted on the entire outer surface or the like of the oil tank 2 as main heat dissipating surface in the transformer 1. The surface of the heat shielding material 10 facing the oil tank 1 of the transformer comprises a mirror-finished heat reflection plate 11 and a heat insulator 12 made of a fibrous material. This enables controlling of rise in the temperature without impairing sound proofing effect.
