PURPOSE:To provide deflection magnetic field distributions on a necked part and an aperture part separately of a horizontal deflection coil by forming a simple constitution in which a plurality of thick parts are provided on a ring core constituting a deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of thick parts 9a, 9b are provided on the inside surface of a core 5. A wire 8 constituting a winding of a deflection coil is wound around the core 5, and thus forces are exerted on the wire 8 in directions 13a, 13b due to the presence of inclined surfaces by the thick parts 9a, 9b. Thus the wire 8 is wound in bent shape, and the magnetic field distribution suitable for the optimal compensation of convergence and left-right pin cushion strain can be obtained. |
