摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease sharply the quantity of addition of elements for alloy required for the opposed steel components and to increase the efficiency of refining by keeping the total iron in slag a specific percentage. CONSTITUTION:In a steel making process by an oxygen top-blown converter with a gas bottom-blown function, the up-blown conditions are set according to the quantity of gas blown from the furnace bottom to perform refining. After keeping the total iron in slag 8-15%, controlling the quantity of addition of CaO according to packed Si and keeping the slag basicity (CaO/SiO2) 2 and over, the refining will be completed. In addition to neutral gas such as Ar, acid gas such as O2 and CO2 or mixed gas is used as bottom-blown gas for strength of mixing.
