PURPOSE:To restart paper feed smoothly, even when the original being fed is removed in the midway, by conveying the original to be discharged in the specified sequence unless defect occurs in discharge conveying. CONSTITUTION:While feeding the original in a feed paper 42, if a slant feed is detected and the original reaching feed rollers 61, 62 is removed together with the original in a bucket part 41, signals S1, S2 of bucket sensor 47 and post sensor 44 become zero. Therefore, a motor M2 is turned off, and the rollers stop. However, since an FF116 for motor M1 of belt 63 is not reset, and the driving of the belt 63 continues, and the discharge of the original already copied on the platen 14 is finished. When the prepared original placed in the bucket part is set again, since the signal ADFE in original automatic feed device 40 is already latched, an FF108 for feed is set through a gate 102, thereby performing feeding operation. Thus, the paper feed may be restarted smoothly. |
