PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device that eliminates an operation of waiting until rewritten information is displayed, actualizes rhythmical reading such as reading forward by consecutively turning pages like a paper medium book and returning to preceding pages to read again, and moreover, that facilitates a rewriting operation. SOLUTION: The reading device includes: a rotary information display board in a continuous three-dimensional structure comprising three information display panels of a dot matrix display system that can rewrite information such as images to display by driving a display medium having display memory property (bistable property); a rotationally driving device that rotates the rotary information display board and moves a display screen displaying desired information to an observable position; and a rewriting and determination means that determines a page turning direction or page returning direction according to the rotation direction of the rotary information display board and generates a rewriting signal for erasing the displayed information or for displaying the required information with respect to each information display panel.
