<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to install grommets positively with ease by letting the grommets be set in corresponding drain holes from above by means of a suction hold device after adhesives have been dished up around the periphery of each drain hole formed on a car body positioned. CONSTITUTION:In a car body 1 which has been carried by a conveyor line to be positioned as specified, when grommets 12 are installed on each of plural numbers of drain holes 38 formed on the car body 1, adhesives 40 are dished up in a ring form around the periphery of each drain hole 38 by means of spraying after dipping treatment has been processed while having been dried first. The adhesives 40 shall be dished up in such amount to the extent that a part of the adhesives 40 comes out of the inner circumferential surface of each drain hole 38 in a state that the grommet 12 is set in. Then, the grommets 12 held by a suction holding device 9 is set in each drain hole 38 from above after the arms 6 and 8 of a grommet installation device have been moved to let the suction holding device 9 be positioned above each specified drain hole 38.</p> |
