Weight measurement for automatic liq. filling process - by electronic comparison of measured and stored total weights derived from empty container and reference weights

A wt. measuring arrangement is for liq. goods automatically drawn off to fill packaging containers. Defined net wts. enable use of indirect wt. measurements for which the associated balance is set to a desired wt. rather than to nill. The empty container (2) is placed on the balance (3) which is then automatically loaded with a reference wt (4), corresp. to the net wt. The sum of the net wt. and the container wt. is stored electronically and the reference wt. then automatically removed. The goods are fed to the container via a delivery system (1) until a delivery switch-off point is determined using the stored wt. The balance contains an electronic measurement unit (5), an electronic store and a comparator. The stored value is continuously compared with the measured value.
