<p>The tea or coffe maker incorporates a water heater which is connected on one side with a water container (12) which is accessible from the top, and, on the other side, is joined to a hot water riser tube opening into a filter (13). An electric heating element has a thermostat in its circuit for maintaining a constant hot temp. after the water has boiled. A second thermostat has a switch the contact of which acts together with a disc when a pre-set temp. is reached. The disc has a cover made of heat-insulated or poor conducting material. The discs are positioned in a vacity in the thermostat housing. The cover has a connecting support forming part of a metal clamp.</p> |
