<p>A temp. detector, which extends into a groove in the rotary roller and is connected to a grounded detecting circuit and an alarm circuit, comprises a sensing element within an electroconductive guard tube (both being connected to one another at one point and thus are at the same potential) which is mounted on a fixed frame by means of an electrically insulating bush. Contact between the detector and the roller, which is grounded via the fixed frame, is instantly detected. The roller may be used in the heat treatment of synthetic fibres.</p> |
