<p>Work-top for domestic appliances such as freezer cabinets or dishwashers comprises a rectangular, metal or plastics frame with a coated press-moulded plate mounted on it. Frame and plate are edge-bonded together by means of a reactive casting compsn. At least 1 stiffening element is fixed to both frame and plate, via the casting compsn. The latter is pref. a polyurethane-based, integral, hard foam. Rapid stable fastening between the members is achieved.</p> |
