PURPOSE:To limit the power consumption by added functions, by minimizing the operation time for the reception part especially having greater power consumption as required value. CONSTITUTION:The watch section 1 is digital type watch circuit which takes the crystal oscillator as the reference oscillation source. Further, the time correction signal is fed to the antenna 2 from the transmission section, and the timer section 7 having the frequency demultiplied output from the frequency dividing section in the watch section 1 as the reference is operated with the operation of the operation section 6. After the reception section 3 starts the operation, the time correction signal is received, and noise is rejected at the waveform shape section 4, then the correction signal is picked up at the time correction signal confirming section 5 and the standard time included in the time correction signal is copied on the counter in the watch section 1. Further, the operation of the reception section 3 is stopped by resetting the timer section 7 with the reset signal to finish the time correction, allowing to reduce the malfunction and power consumption. |
