The dental aspiration cannula (1) provides a better view of the area to be aspirated. The suction end is designed as a bend, the pipe section (2) carrying the suction orifice (6) being at an angle with respect to the connection end (3). The plane of the suction orifice (6) extends virtually in parallel with the longitudinal axis (7) of the pipe section (2) adjoining the bend (5). This design, moreover, prevents soft tissues from being sucked in during aspiration. <IMAGE>
