Metal foil food packaging method - using deep drawing in successive stages in air tight chambers

The method is used for repeated evacuation of enclosed vols. such as gas tight chambers in extrusion units or gas tight chambers for vacuum food packaging installations. The evacuation system is connected by a pipe system to the appropriate unit. The volumes to be evacuated are in each case moved in several stages through a pressure equalisation process by being successively connected to pipe systems with reducing pressure. The pressure in the pipe system finally connected is selected to ensure that the required pressure in the chamber is attained. The connection of the varying pipe systems is carried out through valves.
