This ring volume control method uses a branched telephone which is made to control the ring volume of the telephone from other branched telephones. The method includes stages; a)senses the telephone loop of other branched telephones(10), b) senses whether the drive signal to control the volume of other telephones is generated when the telephone loop of other telephones are turned on, c) transmits a tone(60) which signifies whether volume can be controlled from other branched telephones and senses whether the signal for volume variation from other branched telephones is sensed, and d) a volume level that corresponds to the generated signal is saved in the memory(70) when a volume variation signal is generated, and the ring volume is regulated with the volume level which is saved in the memory when a ring is generated.
