PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predistortion generation device capable of accurately continuing to generate appropriate predistortion that is distributed over a wide band, and a predistortion generation method.SOLUTION: The predistortion generation device comprises adaptive control means and predistortion maintenance means. Based on a frequency spectrum U[f] of a sequence of signals u[n] to be inputted in the order of a time sequence (n) to a circuit subjected to distortion compensation according to a predistortion method, a frequency spectrum Y[f] of a sequence of signals y[n] to be outputted by the circuit in the order of the time sequence (n) and a weight W[f] indicating whether to permit superposing of distortion or noise on the signals y[n] on a frequency axis, the adaptive control means minimizes a difference between (W[f]U[f]) and (W[f]Y[f]) based on adaptive control. The predistortion maintenance means maintains the predistortion that should be superposed on the signals u[n] at a value adaptive to a solution ω of the adaptive control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
