Aspirin which had sustained action by maintaining releasing velocity sustainingly in intestinal and gastric juice after administration, was prepd. by adding polypropylene with a molecular weight of <= 2000 in mixing polymeric materials in which minute particles of aspirin were encapsulated, with org. solvent, agitating aspirin particles in this soln., followed by cooling.
