<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent impact resistance, compression characteristics, etc., containing a bifunctional epoxy resin, trifunctional epoxy resin, phenolic compound and 4,4 '-diaminodiphenylsulfone or 3,3'-diaminodiphenylsulfone. CONSTITUTION:(A) A bifunctional epoxy resin is mixed with (B) a trifunctional epoxy resin in the molar ratio of 1:0.1 and the mixture is blended with (C) a phenolic compound shown by formula I (X1-X12 and R1-R4 are H or methyl) in the ratio shown by formula II and (D) 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone, etc., in the ratio shown by formula III and further reinforcing fibers (e.g., carbon fibers) and an inorganic filler, etc., to give the aimed composition.
