Reduction of frictional los in flow of aq. fluids through pipes by addn. of a polymer obtained by high energy radiation -induced polymerisation of (meth)acrylamide, (meth) acrylic acid and/or alkali metal (meth)acrylate in 10-60 wt. % concn. in aq. medium. Radition intensity is 250-106 (1000-300000) rad/h and dose 500-300,000(1000-100,000) rad. Used for transport of hydrocarbons, esp. comminuted oil shale or coal, crude oil, solidified wax and for partly-refined crude oil through pipelines. |
