PURPOSE:To obtain a cement bearing having lubricity by adding halide and metal, synthetic resin and carbon or fibered combination of the three elements, and hardening them into the bearing. CONSTITUTION:Halide and metal, synthetic resin and carbon or fibered combination of the three elements are added to cement which is the principle component of a bearing and the resulting mixed compound thereof to which lubricating compound is added as required is then hardened in the specified form. Suitable cement, namely, the principle component is basically constituted of CaO 65- 75%, SiO2 10-15%, Al3 5-10%, Fe2O3 2-4% and MgO 1-2%, for example. By adding halide to the cement, the friction face of a bearing is provided with lubricity. Additionally, by adding metal, synthetic resin and carbon or fibered combination of them, the bearing may be provided with increased strength so as to enhance the pressure withstanding characteristics thereof. |
