<p>The machine capable of throwing large balls such as footballs or volleyballs is mounted on a telescopic post (1) which can be locked in its extended position by screws (4). A basket (6) large enough to hold ten footballs is fixed to the top of the post (1). A flap (8) controlled by a cord (13) with a handle allows the balls to roll out as required into a chute (16). The angle of the chute can be varied by an adjustable support (17) with hooks (18) which engage the screw (4). A flap (21) at the end of the chute is restrained by a cord so that it can be held at any required angle to control the trajectory of the ball as it leaves the chute.</p> |
