<p>The equipment completes the discharge of flat-bottomed silos and can be controlled by its own inclination. A base causes the inclination, or a winch maintains the inclination while hauling the equipment in. It can be arranged to climb the natural slope of the material in the silo by means of its components affecting the extraction. The equipment is placed on the slope of material and moored to a vertical column above the discharge hole. It climbs the slope while unwinding the rope by means of its scrapers, and when the rope is completely unwound the scrapers project the material towards the hole. The equipment then tilts forward, causing the winch to start winding in until it is on the slope again, when the winch is released and the process is repeated.</p> |
