Accommodated in the cabinet (1) are the water container (2), the heat pump with the compressor (10), the condenser (20), the evaporator (16) and further accessories as well as all control devices, connecting lines and connections. A supplementary heating system (6) is provided in the container (2). The evaporator (16) is heated by the air delivered by the fan (19) through the openings (17, 18). For defrosting, the evaporator is mounted above the upper covering of the container (2) without thermal insulation and a time-controlled or temperature-controlled switchgear (29) for switching the compressor (10) on and off is provided. <IMAGE>
