Vertical, insulated double jacket heat-exchanger for a heating medium and warm storage where there is temperature layering, a bottom storage water feed and a top drain. Specifically there is a number of feed connections (4, 5, 6) which branch from a feed line (10) into the double jacket space (16) with valves (7, 8, 9) for the heating medium at different heights of the heat exchange. There is a bottom heating medium take off connection (11) and temp. sensors (12, 13, 14) project in the storage water space at different heights of the heat exchange. There is also a temperature sensor (15) is the feed line (10) for the heating medium. The interspace (16) of the double jacket is tight and there are deflector stripes (17) in the double jacket space (11).
