<p>1501545 Bar-stock feeding ALECOOP S COOP 11 Feb 1976 [17 June 1975] 05474/76 Heading B3B Bar-stock feeding apparatus comprises a frame or casing 1 housing a plurality of guiding elements 2 positioned in axial alignment along the casing to form an elongate aperture 3 for the bar, the guiding elements 2 being made from a resilient material (rubber or plastics) to absorb noise and vibrations, and the aperture 3 having a slot 12 to accommodate a bar feed device 8. The elements 2 may have legs 5 having enlarged beading 6 which can be received in grooves (7) (Fig. 1, not shown). The elements 2 are positioned in the casing 1 by interengaging ribs 9, 10. The elements 2 may be in contiguous longitudinal alignment or alternately spaced by metal sleeves (14) (Fig. 4, not shown).</p> |
