<p>Compsn. comprises an aq. dispersion contg. (a) 0.01-10 (0.05-2.5) pts. wt. condensation prod. (I) of >1 epihalohydrin (II) and >=1 aliphatic 1-6C amine (II); (b) 100 pts. wt. pigment, esp. clay, (c) 5-100 pts. wt. binder, esp. case -in, and other opt. additives. Pref. (II) is epichlorohydrin, epibromohydrin and/or epiiodohydrin. Pref. (III) are MeNH2, Me2NH, EtNH2, Et2NH (hexam)ethylene diamine, Nme, Net3 and allylamine. Addn. of (I) improves brightness, offset printing properties, drying rate of printing ink and light-stability of coated material.</p> |
