<p>The machine comprises two vertical cylinders, open at the top, mounted symmetrically on a rotating turret; they are brought successively under a fixed hopper contg. the dough. The turret is driven by the shaft while the pistons are operated by rods linked to a lifting bar which is articulated around the axis. The ends of the rods rest on the cam; this turns around the axis and is driven by a plate and the shaft. The cam on rotating causes the alternating movements of the pistons; these result in dough being sucked into a cylinder when under the hopper and to its ejection in the other position of the cylinder, each cylinder successively occupying these two positions. The turret can turn at low or high speeds; control is by two fixed contacts and levers operated by stops on the piston rods. The low speed of filling the cylinders, by pivoting of the cam alone, with the high ejection speed, by rotating the turret/cam assembly, produces a better prod. and also increases the operating rhythm.</p> |
