<p>The servo booster includes a diaphragm located within a casing and defining two pressure chambers, the pressure differential between the chambers controlling the force applied by the diaphragm to a brake output rod. The pressure differential is regulated by a flexible valve closure member located within a valve body. The member is operated by an input rod which shifts the member axially in the body. The output rod is linked by a cylindrical hollow member to the body, the member being constructionally separate from both rod and valve body.</p> |
