The present invention provides an apparatus to identify a location of a gradation level sensor of a molten metal comprising: a laser level sensor attached on one side of a gradation level sensor, is interlocked with a movement of the gradation level sensor and vertically moves, and measures a vertical height of the gradation level sensor; and a gradation suggestion unit provided on one side of a path where the gradation level sensor vertically moves, suggesting a vertical index with respect to a physical location of the laser level sensor. Through a location error recognition of the molten metal level sensor, the apparatus compensates a location error of the molten metal level sensor.
