PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the ejection of the emitting light to the observing direction, and simultaneously to suppress that the outdoor daylight reflects to the observing direction in a thin film type EL element and the display equipment equipped with it. SOLUTION: In the thin film type EL element equipped with a translucent electrode 2, which is laminated on a translucent substrate 1, a 1st career transportation layer 6, which is laminated on the translucent electrode 2, a 2nd career transportation layer 7, which is laminated on the light emitting layer 3, and a light absorbing nature electrode 4, which is laminated on the 2nd career transportation layer 7, the refractive index of the light absorbing nature electrode 4 is made smaller than the refractive index of the 2nd career transportation layer 7, and a slope is provided in a transparent trapezoidal body 8.
