<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a station yard guide system capable of transmitting appropriate information assosiated with a passenger to a portable terminal of the passenger at a branch point of boarding route such as a ticket gate of the station yard, stairs and a platform. <P>SOLUTION: The train user obtains a route information from an entrainment station to an alighting station from a contents distributor terminal 50 to the portable terminal 10 and retains the train departure information in the portable terminal 10 by time series. An information transmitting device 30 for always transmitting the station yard guide information collectively retained in an information transmitting server 20 by a feeble electric wave or a feeble infrared is installed at the branch point such as the ticket gate of the station yard, the stairs and the platform. The station yard guide information can be renewed by an information input terminal 40 by an information management person at all times and can be automatically renewed by departure and arrival of the train 70. The station yard guide information is constituted by a pair of a plurality of train departure information for search and text data.
