<p>PURPOSE: To continuously keep an adjusting knob at an adjusted position by constructing a device such that, when line adjusting knob is rotated to open a cold air passage, opening/closing means is subject to a straight line movement through a cam to open the cold air passage with a damper. CONSTITUTION: In a refrigerator, a cold air passage 8 is closed with a damper 7, through which passage cold air produced in an evaporator disposed between an upper freezing chamber and a lower refrigeration chamber is sent to the freezing chamber and the refrigeration chamber with the aid of rotation of a fan. In this state, once an adjusting knob 3 is rotated unticlockwise, a pinion 4A engaged with a sector gear 3B is rotated clockwise. With rotation of a flat plate cam 4 disposed integrally with the pinion 4A, a guide section 5A of damper opening/closing means 5 is brought into contact with and moved from a minimum lift point 4E to a maximum lift point 4D, whereby the damper adjusting means 5 is moved linearly. Thus, a damper 7 is moved unticlockwise against a spring 6 to release the cold air passage 8.</p> |
