<p>PURPOSE:To quickly display related information on a display device for reference by easily correlating certain information with other plural pieces of information and easily and quickly correlating one piece of information with plural pieces of different information. CONSTITUTION:This related information referring system is provided with an information storing means 20 which stores plural pieces of information, information displaying means 10 which displays plural pieces of information, and information detecting means 40 which defines the partial area of the information displayed on the displaying means 10 and detects the partial area. The system is also provided with a correlating means 40 which correlates displayed plural pieces of information with each other, relating information storing means 30 which stores correlated information, and related displaying means which displays related information by the number of correlated related information by indicating the all or partial area of the information displayed on the displaying means 10. In addition, the system is constituted so that correlated information can be successively displayed on the information displaying means 10 when one of the related displaying means is selected.</p> |
