PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a carrying person to easily recognize its own terminal located at a specific position. SOLUTION: A memory means stores base station identification information (CS-ID) of a base station at a specific position. A short tracking is tried and the CS-ID relating to control channels whose reception signal strength is within a prescribed high level is stored in a RAM (ST1, ST2). The short tracking is executed for each prescribed period and the CS-ID stored in the RAM is sequentially being updated. In the case that the CS-ID relating to a control channel whose reception signal strength is of the first ranking is coincident with the above mentioned specific CS-ID, it is informed that its own terminal is at a specific location (ST3, ST4). Furthermore, the CS-ID whose reception signal strength is within higher ranks (except 1st rank) is coincident with the above mentioned specific CS-ID, it is informed that its own terminal is placed at a location close to the specific position (ST6, ST9). Since it is informed that its own terminal is placed at the specific position, the carrying person can easily recognize that its own terminal is placed at the specific location. |
