A tear-off section 6 is provided over a dispensing orifice 4 passing through a projection 5 in the crown of a bottle cap 2. The tear-off section 6 may be in the form of a cross-bar, off-set relative to the axis of the projection 6 and orifice 4, to facilitate opening by a turning and tilting action. The cap is secured to the bottle neck by the engagement of an internal flange 3 on the cap with a corresponding groove on the bottle neck. |
