<p>The plant is as described in parent patent where the scalding vessel, consisting of bath and cover, rocks between two extreme positions in each of which one only of the two debristling rollers, at the same height on either side of the centre line, is immersed in the scalding bath liquid and during the transition between these two positions the direction of rotation of the rollers is reversed but for a still cheaper plant the two rollers are driven at the same speed specif. from a single drive motor either through belt or chain drives or by geared coupling between them.</p> |
