(a) determining a PI3K/HER index based upon the activation levels of PI3K and a HER receptor in a cellular extract produced from an isolated cancer cell; and (b) predicting the survival of the subject based upon the PI3K/HER index relative to a reference PI3K/HER index cut-off. |
