PURPOSE:To obtain a filler for chromatography which enables precise analysis of a low-molecular physiological active substance contained in an organic biocomponent without being disturbed by the biocomponent. CONSTITUTION:A filler prepared by combining protein such as avidin and ovomucoid with a carrier such as silica gel through the intermediary of a straight-chain or branched carbon chain which may have a functional group such as a cyano group, and a column for chromatography or refining which is filled up with a component, are obtained. On the occasion of analysis of a low-molecular physiological active substance by the chromatography, an operation for preliminary removal of a biocomponent is not needed and precise analysis can be executed directly. When the column for refining thus prepared is used, the time required for pretreatment can be shortened.
