<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail system for allowing a receiver to know the value of an electronic mail recognized by a sender, and allowing the receiver to reliably select an electronic mail that is important for the sender among a large number of electronic mails; and to provide an electronic mail transmission/reception method, a repeating installation, a computer program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter attaches value information for indicating the value of the electronic mail to an electronic mail to be transmitted, and sends the electronic mail and the value information to the repeating installation; the repeating installation receives the electronic mail and the value information, sends charge information to the transmitter related to the sender of an electronic mail based on the received value information, confirms whether it has received settlement information for indicating that the settlement corresponding to the charged information has been completed from the transmitter, and sends the electronic mail and the value information to the receiver when it confirms the reception of the settlement information; and the receiver receives the electronic mail and the value information, and displays and outputs an electronic mail according to the value shown by the value information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
