Loom heald. Weight reduction in the heald is achieved by holding only one end of the heald wires with their mails for the warp yarn. The secured end of wires is held either by a rod passed through its bottom eyelet, or by hooks engaging the heald bar. The top end of wires is tapered and guided by stationary beams. This allows the number of picks to be increased.
