The headrest has a cushion associated to a tubular metallic armature (4) conformed so as to present two parallel rods (5) which are connected with each other by a median part (6), where the part (6) is integrated to the cushion. Each rod presents an upper end part (7) near the cushion, where the rods project with respect to the cushion. The part (6) has displacement zones (8) arranged so as to permit an elastic displacement between the upper end parts by manual action.
