PURPOSE: To make easy the removal of metal powder mixed in liquid by continuously housing plural magnets almost in the shape of a sphere having projections on the surface in a tube almost in the shape of a cylinder to form a magnetic body in the shape of rosaries and immersing it in liquid to attract metal powder in the liquid. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic filter element 1 is constituted of a magnetic body 2 in which plural magnets 4 is housed in a tube 6 to form, and a locking part 3. On the surface of the magnet 4 formed into a sphere, plural projections 7 are integrally formed, and also along its central axis, a through hole 8 is pierced. By inserting a string 5 into the through holes 8, the magnets 4 are connected in the shape of rosaries. The magnetic body 2 is immersed in liquid flowing from the upstream side to the downstream side in a trough and when metal powder is mixed in the liquid, the metal powder is attracted on the surface of the tube 6 by magnetic force of the magnetic body 2. At this time, since the projections 7 allows the increase in magnetic force, the magnetic powder is efficiently attracted. |
