摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus in which operability is enhanced while reducing cost by reducing the installation area and sharing an intensive functional section, perfecting function, and the like. SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of imaging apparatus 12-1, 12-2, 12-3 connected with at least one processing terminal 11-1, 11-2 through a network 10 comprises a communication means 41, a state detecting means 42, a decision means 43, and a selecting means 44. The state detecting mean 42 detects the operating state information of its own apparatus based on an output instruction received from the processing terminal 11-1, 11-2 through a network 10 by the communication means 41. Received information is transmitted by the communication means 41 to other imaging apparatus 12-2, 12-3 through the network 10. The decision means 43 decides priority in the imaging process based on operating state information received from other apparatus and the operating state information of its own apparatus. Finally, the selecting means 44 selects an appropriate imaging apparatus based on the decision results from the decision means 43.
