<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prevent the clogging of a screen by a carrier by an inexpensive structure, in a carrier-separating screen apparatus separating a bacteria immobilizing carrier used in an aeration tank, by providing a flow distributor in the vicinity of the carrier-separating screen so as to leave an interval. SOLUTION: A carrier-separating screen 7 is provided to the treated liquid outflow opening provided to the upper part of the tank wall 1b on the downstream side of an aeration tank and an aeration device 3 is arranged on the bottom part of the aeration tank. A flow distributor 20 is arranged in the vicinity of the screen 7 on the upstream side thereof in parallel to the screen 7 so as to leave a predetermined interval from the screen 7. A passage 21 is formed between the screen 7 and the flow distributor 20 by providing the flow distributor 20 and, when air bubbles 6 diffused from the aeration device 3 provided to the lower part of this passage enter the passage 21, they rise to the outlet thereof without being diffused to the outside of the passage 21. By this constitution, since large rising flow velocity Va is obtained from the lower end of the flow distributor 20 to the upper end thereof, the adhesion of a carrier to the screen can be prevented.</p> |
