PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use toner and to reduce charges for toner by previously registering information that toner is saved/not saved by every kind of file and performing recording operation in a toner saving mode at the time of recording the file registered as the corresponding one. SOLUTION: The information necessary to specify the kind of the file for which the toner saving mode is set, that is, the kind of the file which is an object to be recorded in the toner saving mode is inputted from a display operation part 4. The inputted data is stored in a system memory 3. In the case a transmitted result report(a kind of control report) is outputted, a facsimile control part 5 reads out information on an operation mode for saving the toner from the memory 3 and informs a plotter part 8 of performing recording in a state where the toner is saved at the time of performing recording operation. Thus, the recording operation is performed in a state where toner saving takes priority at the time of recording a document, such as the control report or an original on a memory, which can be read practically even when it is recorded by applying thinning processing. |
