PURPOSE:To attain high speed division in respect of a division processor for calculating a quatient and a remainder by division when a divisor is restricted. CONSTITUTION:The division processor 13 is provided with a divisor table 14, a dividend storing part 15, a comparing value setting part 16, a compared object value generating part 17, a comparing operation processing part 18, a quatient identifying part 19, and a remainder calculating part 20. The table 14 allows the multiple of a divisor to correspond to an index I consisting of integers 1 to 9 (TBL [I]). The generating part 17 generates compared object value K=AHi. The processing part 18 executes comparing processing between the compared object value K=AHi and the comparing value TBL[I] set up by the setting part 16 and transfers control to the processing part 19 or the setting part 16 in accordance with the compared result. The initial value of the TBL [I] is set up to TBL [5] and successively changed like TBL [3], TBL [7], TBL [2], and TBL [9]. |
