PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily translate and transfer a document through basic operation by storing a text described in an arbitrary language as a file, and translating the text into another language and storing the translation while making it correspond to a text icon. SOLUTION: Text icons indicating files stored in a file storage area 51 are grouped by languages and stored in a window storage area 52. The contents of respective windows are stored in a language storage area 53 and an icon position storage area 54 corresponding to the display windows stored in the window storage area 52. Then text file that a translation-source icon indicates is read out of the file storage area 51 and the contents of the text file are translated by an automatically selected translation processing program. A text icon indicating the translation is displayed, so a communicating user can easily access the contents. |
