A sheath is produced from the flat foil by glueing together overlapping foil edges with two different adhesives. A first adhesive tape connects the edges immediately after sheath formation so firmly that the bottom edge of the bag can be folded immediately while a second adhesive tape hardens and sets after the bag is shaped to give the overall adhesion necessary for use.
