The deliming agent comprises non-liquid acids together with a polishing- or abrasive agent and is used in the form of a soln. or suspension pref. in aerosol container. A typical agent contains citric or tartaric acid mixed with finely powdered pumice stone. The agent is safe and less corrosive than ones which use liquid acids such as HCl and HCOOH.
